I wonder, might you describe one of your favourite movies in just three words?

Asked by ucme (50047points) May 19th, 2020

We may even try guessing which films you mean so long as they’re not too obvious.

@stanleybmanly – 40 Year Old Virgin?

stanleybmanly's avatar

No. I can’t describe my favorite movie in 3 words. But that’s pretty good!

SavoirFaire's avatar

I was going to guess White Men Can’t Jump, but @Patty_Melt‘s answer is better.

Nobody’s biting. :-(

filmfann's avatar

@KNOWITALL Nope. Good guess though.

filmfann's avatar

Nope. Nope.

filmfann's avatar

I will reveal the answer later today.

ucme's avatar

If Silence of the Lambs was deemed “a good guess” then I’m going with Deranged a film about Ed Gein who Lecter was part based on.
Although Blade Runner is probably correct.

ucme's avatar

Now, I wonder.
My effort way up yonder remains without an attempt…anytime soon will be fine lol

zenvelo's avatar

@ucme Sophie’s Choice ?

filmfann's avatar

@SavoirFaire is correct. Blade Runner.

ucme's avatar

Not Sophie’s Choice…

Patty_Melt's avatar

@ucme, I’ve been thinking on it.
I see you haven’t made any attempt on mine, and I posted hints for four.

SavoirFaire's avatar

@Patty_Melt No idea on the first one, but here are some guesses:

Aunts, spells, margaritas > Practical Magic?

Anyone can cook > Ratatouille?

My lawyer Dagget > True Grit?

Patty_Melt's avatar

DING DING DING!
Three correct guesses!
The one you didn’t get is not a new movie, but it is new to me. I love it and keep rewatching it.

filmfann's avatar

@ucme what movie are you describing with rock paper scissors?

Patty_Melt's avatar

^ All that keeps coming to mind for me is Big Bang Theory, when Sheldon switches it.

ucme's avatar

@filmfann I mean, guess or shut up :D
