But for today:

The Luncheon of the Boating Party: becuase it’s a beautiful peaceful Spring day like the one I imagine the boating party had.

They all look so alive!

This huge painting is nearby so it’s easy to have a look whenever I feel the urge. I always feel there is something new to discover ( more birds and not just that tiny red one at lower left side ) if given time to examine with a magnifying glass or better eyesight for me.

This 10-ton Persian stone bull’s head amazes me. It’s about 2,500 years old.

Looking at it I am in awe of the people who made it. The massive design and the delicate details, the idea of carving it from raw rock, the ability to simply move such a huge piece…everything about it shows astonishing skill and brains and organization.
