The nation’s comics are the heroes of Trump’s reign. And as the article says, they’re ahead of the news outlets in portraying the dummy with his shortcomings for the tasteless joke he actually is.
Actually, they take the bullshit “news” spews, and expand on it.
Also,if they don’t pander to the liberal crowd of hate, the ratings drop.
I don’t watch any of them anymore.
This isn’t the first POTUS they’ve been relentless with though. Jimmy Carter took second seat to brother Billy a lot. They also would not give up on his teeth.
They didn’t respect his family at all. They went after daughter Chelsea like it was open season on her most of the time.
Ford took a lot of $hist also.
you would think it would keep them on their toes, but Trump is a comedians wet dream they don’t have to write the shit he says and does just sit back and wait.

My opinion is that if everyone is consuming the same information it doesn’t matter what the incentive is, you’ll get a similar result. People like their cognitive biases, they’re comfortable and everything we do in this culture of technology and media reflects that. Maybe comedians aren’t being presented with the exact same incentives as mainstream media, but the consumers are pretty much the same and so it’s just a different package. Same with memes and other viral entertainment.
Sure every President gets his share of ribbing from comics of his day. But @KNOWITALL you cannot ignore the fact that there has never been a goldmine for jokes so dependably rich as this one. I mean Trump is so huge a bonanza for poking fun at, that he not only exceeds all the other Presidents COMBINED, but I defy anyone here to name ANY individual who comes close to generating material for laughter. It is no exaggeration to state that he is the greatest sustained tasteless bad joke in my lifetime, and I believe he probably holds the title in that category for the history of the world. It really is unbelievable.

@KNOWITALL yes Bush took a lot of heat, but there is no comparison to the sheer magnitude and volume of ridicule and derision heaped upon Trump. And that is because the man is so reliably guaranteed to deliver gaffes and fkups that he rivals sunrise and the phases of the moon in predictability. He is the undisputed, unrivaled primary well of comedy material WORLD WIDE, and I honestly cannot name a topic or source to top him—EVER!

It is pretty much as squeek put it. Biden is my pick SOLELY as a Trump block. If Biden is the best the Democrats can do, he will have to suffice. The comics will have a field day with Biden too, but in comparison to Trump they will be jumping off bridges and shooting themselves in despair when Trump leaves office and the ogre well dries up.
As for showing Trump with no mask on memorial day, as opposed to Biden did wear one, I would prefer Biden wear one any time he is in public.

@KNOWITALL You know Trump is 8% point lower than Biden in the latest FOX poll for President. Biden at 48 percent support and Trump at 40 percent, with 11 percent undecided or saying they’ll support someone else !

Everyone knows I’ve voted Dem and Rep and lean more Libertarian, so it doesn’t make sense.
The reason I am vocal, is that so many of you are anti-Trump, you seem to no longer think clearly when it comes to our constitutional freedoms and rights as Americans. If he wins again, understand that I truly believe he will owe it to the Democrats.
