I will never get sick of it.

@lucillelucillelucille You could have gave a volume warning, my ears have popped!

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme -I did not know it would do that but maybe it’s meant to drown other voices out when they sing along? You did, didn’t you? XD

ucme's avatar

@lucillelucillelucille Not familiar with the words, I did tap my foot though.

Here’s a classic I’ve recently reacquainted myself with…appropriate lyrics I think ;-}

@lucillelucillelucille GQ for Chris Isaak.

Two songs that can be played anytime, day or night:

For singing along

For air guitar

For driving on a hot summer day, windows rolled down

“Greensleeves” or “Scarborough Fair.”

Imagine
John Lennon
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You, you may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You, you may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will live as one

@lucillelucillelucille that one is good, but it’s this one. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mrojrDCI02k

(I still can’t post links properly. Lol)

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@Mama_Cakes -That song is in my top ten favorites of all time. I love PF :)
As for the links, just put parenthesis around the word you want to be highlighted/clicked and follow that with a colon, then the link, no spaces.
Rebbel taught me that when I came back.
Follow that with a victory dance

Patty_Melt's avatar

“quotes” not parentheses.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

Whoops, I spelled it wrong too.

One more, when I want to “relax”:https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vypSOetzlQo

Hahaha I tried.

It looks right. If you typed out each character, it is sometimes easy to switch letter O for number 0.

I love the blues
But I could listen to this all day long

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@josie I went to his concert on a date once. I can’t remember if he did that song.

LadyMarissa's avatar

This song always ran through my head every night as I watched my husband sleep. Since he passed, it has become even more important to me as it brings back memories of his sweet face as he slept!!!

josie's avatar

@lucillelucillelucille
Well then I guess your date distracted you.

I haven’t read responses so I apologize if this has been shared. If it has you are my music buddy.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@LadyMarissa -Aww :)
@josie -I wish.lol
@Jonsblond I saw them in concert and can’t remember if they did that song. Susan Boyle did a nice cover of it, IMO.
@rockfan -Yep!

hmmmmmm's avatar

@ARE_you_kidding_me: “I could not make it 20 seconds though that Clapton cover.”

What about their brilliant cover of Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb?

ARE_you_kidding_me's avatar

Dear. God. I hope they are playing this as a joke because that’s at a whole new level. The cringe factor is off the charts.

Mama_Cakes's avatar

@hmmmmmm the sound cut out for me on my phone roughly five seconds in. I’m thinking that was for the best!
