Why does Fluther have a component where you can remove a stupid question, but they don't have one, for removing a stupid answer?

Why a dumb question button, but not a dumb answer button?

There is a flag button for questions and answers. You can flag either.

The “stupidity” of a particular question/answer is really a matter of personal opinion, is it not?

Jack absolutely…but, I don’t think any question asked is a stupid question. Only stupid question, is one not asked.

I agree with THAT, completely!

Thanks everyone for answering, have a good day!

Why do you think that EVERYONE has now answered?

And there are no stupid questions just stupid people.

I wish they had a component for removing a stupid Flutherer.

I have a few to recommend…

Amen to that!

Thanks for the back-up.

Assassination is always an option.

Are you calling me Stupid?

JackAdams's avatar

I am not mentioning anyone at all, specificially (if you are addressing me, with that inquiry).

I promised Andrew that I would not do that in here, anymore, and I always keep my promises, unless I am dead.

Ok. Well I don’ think I’ve seen you in any threads I have been in so you don’t yet know I am stupid.

@swimmindude2496: I do not think you are “stupid” at all.

If I gave you that impression, please forgive me, and accept my public apology.

O well thank you, you are one of the few that feel that way here on fluther!!!

Apology accepted.

There are lots of folks (of the 10,000+ members) who believe in treating the other Flutherers with respect and courtesy.

Unfortunately, it sometimes appears that the rudest and most boorish ones (usually, those of either high school age or mentality) insist on posting the most, and harassing those of us who are just hoping to have a few laughs, WHILE learning new things, and helping others to learn new things, simultaneously.

You’ll notice that I no longer respond to insults with insults, because I made a sacred, Word-of-Honor promise to Andrew (via PM) that I would not do that anymore (mostly, because my insults were always much better than those initiating such exchanges), and with me, a Word-of Honor promise is something that only my own death would prevent me from keeping.

Anyone who publicly or privately accuses you of being stupid, is “stupid” for making such a remark, and you should keep in mind what I always say, sometimes:

“Assassination is always an option.”

@swimmindude2496 I wasn’t calling you stupid either. But we have run across some real winners from time to time here.

@JackAdams why do I think everyone is finished answering the question is because, the people who did respond to my question answered it.
Why would anyone keep answering it, it’s not an open ended question. Correct answers have been given. It’s not a question on what should I wear tonight, the red dress or the black dress. I gave my fluther points and now I’m on my way.

Argue it all you want…I’m gone and it’s obvious, no other answers has contributed to answering the post anyways.
