Does it bother anyone else when they pile the frosting in the middle of the cupcake, leaving the edges unfrosted?

No. I just lick the frosting off the top first anyway.

I spread the icing out. They put too much icing on cupcakes now.

I like cake better. I prefer to eat with a fork and get just as much cake and icing as I want on each bite.

Like a Twinkie? No.. What bothers me is a Passion Fruit pastry that doesn’t have enough cream and fruit on the inside. I would pay double for more filling.

I think she means on top of the cupcake but heaped up high in the center, not evenly across the top.

I agree waaaay to much super sickly sweet frosting @JLeslie. I havent been able to eat that kind of sweet since I was a kid.

It’s very hard to eat something like that, with three inches of icing on top of it.

Makes no difference to me, I never met a cupcake I didn’t like. My granddaughters had their first baking experience last week and were worried about the same thing. I told them they were delicious to make them happy. They actually were too.

@JLeslie Oh. Given the choice I would go straight icing very little everything else. I grew up splitting a can of
Uncooked cherry pie filling with my sister.

Fascinating to me how the little things in life bother some people.

Me, I do the icing first anyway, whether it is piled high or spread flat.

Don’t sweat the small stuff.

It bothers me, too. Like the two fat ladies with a little girl who go into Wal Mart, and the first thing they do is go to the bakery display and ask the little girl what kind of donut she wants.
