Cynical. I anticipate a lot of costly disputing, and damage being done by the WH from pure spite in the next two months.

I am far away and relatively unaffected except for the fact that the world is literally burning, and Trump didn’t even pretend to care. Biden wasn’t my favourite candidate. And yet, I am legitimately happy – much happier than I anticipated. Skipping-and-jumping happy. I have been spontaneously and uncontrollably smiling for the last two hours.
And now I’m having Thai food with my happy husband to celebrate. Congrats, America. And thank you.
On the news, Chuck Todd was saying that world leaders will start referring to Biden as President-Elect, and Biden will start naming his new cabinet. This will suck the energy out of the Trump camp, because when Trump continues to cry about still being the President, and being robbed of the election, it will look ludicrous and like “what are you doing?”

I feel like it is not over yet. There were so many inconsistencies with the vote count that it will be challenged. And if it isn’t challenged or if the courts let things stand as is, it makes Biden’s election suspect and lacks credibility.

I feel like maybe the celebrating should have waited until court cases or any recounts were completed, but I do think it won’t matter, because I have no question in my mind the count overall is good.
I feel glad that Biden won, but nervous about the weeks ahead, because I see what people are saying on social media, and so many Republicans think the sky is falling,
Regarding the celebrating, I am happy to see almost everyone wearing a mask in the Biden crowds. No matter what the Republicans say, and they are saying things like, “I guess covid is over now,” and showing photos of crowds, the Biden Crowds do have on masks.
I feel very glad about the statements many leaders have made asking for Trump supporters to give Biden a chance. I want all Republicans leaders to come out and ask for some patience and faith in our country and what we can accomplish when we work together. I hope those statements are shown on Fox News. I saw Fox news for about an hour and they are showing Giuliani saying total garbage implying purposeful fraud. I do credit Fox for doing a quick interview with people who worked processing ballots, and they said there were no trash cans, no pens, people observing from both parties, that it was basically impossible to tamper with a ballot or the vote in any way. They also talked to Biden supporters out celebrating and the message mostly was that the Biden supporters feel relief that they don’t have to be afraid anymore.
All the challenges and lawsuits will amount to no more than tweets with legal fees.
I feel good that Republican leadership will likely maintain control of the Senate. Real good for a do nothing Congress. No green new deal. No packing the Supreme Court. Trump tax cuts will remain.
Also with Harris being the first black woman Vise President, perhaps that will end the BS of systemic racism being prevalent in the USA.
I NEVER believed that he was having new climb-proof fencing put up to protect him from rioters when he won…I always felt it was put up to keep the military OUT when he lost!!!

It sort of amazes me that you all seem okay with cheating. Let me point out a few of the things that seem illegal or extremely odd. 140,000 votes in MI show up while the polling station is closed and all are for Biden. Statistically, in a state that is close to 50/50, that is a statistical impossibility in a fair race. To get 140,000 votes for one candidate equates to something ridiculous like 1 in 10 trillion. Yet you seem okay with that. We have court orders demanding that representatives from both the GOP and the DNC are present to witness the vote counts. Yet at some of the stations, not only are the GOP (along with some media) refused access by some guy with a badge (who doesn’t seem to work for any state or local law enforcement), but they put boards over the windows so no one can see in. Why? If it is above board, why not let the witnesses see? Tuesday night, Trump was walking away with the election and suddenly they stopped reporting on it and a few hours later Biden has made step changes in counts. There is a law suit in NV about thousands of people that voted in NV even though they didn’t live in NV any longer. There are cases of dead people voting.
These sorts of things played out again and again and again. They all point to illegal activities. Yet you all seem okay with rigged elections. Let me ask…if all these things happened in favor of Trump, would you be okay with it? Would you consider all these things acceptable?
@seawulf575: The majority of mail in votes are going to be for Biden. Why? Because there are many videos of Trump at his rallies (August 17, 18, 2020), saying to the attendees (who of course would be largely or all Republican), “You’re all going to vote in person, I know that.” So the Republicans vote mostly in person, the Dems did a lot of mail in, and then surprise, the mail in votes are mostly for Biden.

I think the problem from Trumps point of view is that some states insisted on counting all the votes instead of just stopping when Trump was in the lead which is what @seawulf575 seems to think is a fair ballot.

Just because Trump tweeted it does not make it true; most things Trump tweets are false or outright lies. Just last week, Trump’s lawyers told a Federal Court that Trump’s tweets cannot be considered as factually true in Federal Court.

He won by how many votes? 3 million? 150,000 uncounted votes isn’t going to make a difference….but they will still count them.

And you miss the part where the FISA court ruled that the FBI basically faked the FISA warrant requests when they failed to say that the Steele Dossier was opposition research bought and paid for by Hillary and the Dems, that Steele was tossed out as a source prior to all this due to his bogus reports, and that they actually stated that this dossier was fully vetted. All of these things show that Hillary and those desperate to get her elected tried cheating to undo the 2016 election. And all of that really just cements my statement that the Dems are master projectionists.
