Does the fact that he’s on the way out green light Trump permission to “act the fool”?

First, this isn’t an act. He is a fool and has been all along.

Second, I think he has given up. He just doesn’t care. He’s disengaging.

What I worry about is if he does something really strange and dangerous in his last 60 days.

Did pulling troops out of Iraq destabilize the region? And if so, WHO is advising him? He’s not smart enough to know what pulling them out would cause.

He fired the head of the CyberSecurity in Elections team yesterday who was his appointee for saying that the elections were free of foreign interference and the safest elections we’ve had in years.

– Yes. And that does seem like the way Trump “thinks”. It is hard to notice what level of crazy he’s dishing, when his normal is already crazy. But it seems to me his crazy spiked on election night and has remained extra-crazy and dangerous/damaging.

Trump recently asked if he could attack Iran in reaction to a report they’ve been accumulating nuclear materials (since he pulled out of our previous agreement with them).

He’s also been trying to sabotage the US’ position in the Middle East by trying to get the troops pulled out immediately.

I’m a bit surprised he didn’t try to start a way sooner, before the election. After all, that was he thought Obama would do in 2012.

And the crazy f-tard bad-Christians and etc have been saute`-ing their crazy in fear juice, too. Such as live Internet pray-ins on YouTube praying for Jesus to cause Trump to miraculously win the election now.

I haven’t read everything above, but it would not surprise me if he tries to crash the stock market, or Republican loyalists try to, and other strategies to make things difficult. It reminds me of how we used to talk about the Jews leaving Israel when I was a kid, destroy it on the way out.

I have Republicans on facebook talking about Biden is going to shut down the nation and I guess people are out hoarding paper products again. A jelly told me about it yesterday, but now I see it from real life friends also. I don’t know if it is happening all over the country, I have not been to the store where I live. Stock market was down today at the end of the day, let’s see if it bounces back.

I feel sorry for all you liberals when Trump is gone. Then you won’t have much to whine about. No reason to riot, destroy, bully old folks, loot stores and hate.

Some of the above comments is sad and pathetic. Nothing unusual for sure.

Yeah, kind of the way you far right folks couldn’t get enough of trashing Obama for 8 years, and had to fall back on Hillary. I recall seeing MAGA hat wearing crowds shouting “crooked Hillary” for three years after Trump took office. And the almost routine murders of Blacks in Police custody is certainly nothing for BLM to be upset about.

He’s not acting the fool, and there’s nothing remotely funny about it. Let’s forget words like “clown” and “buffoon” and even “crazy.” That makes it all seem unintentional, if not harmless and a little silly. This is anything but. Making sure there’s no funds for emergency programs? Selling off protected lands? Goading our volatile adversaries? Subverting the entire election process? This is deliberate, calculated, callous destruction. This is evil. This is a wicked ruler attacking his own land, his own people.

I think he does care. He craves the sight of the damage he is doing. He wants to watch it burn down. All he wants now is revenge, and he’ll use anyone and anything to get it. What he doesn’t care about is the harm he’s doing his own people, his sympathizers as well as his opponents.

The thing I simply do not understand is why no one can stop him and no one even seems to be trying. I can’t believe no one is trying . . . but just like a wildfire, this rampage does incalculable damage every minute that it continues, and this one is zero percent contained.

I don’t understand why he wasn’t stopped either.
However I’m pretty sure there are people in his administration who are actively working against him. People who care about the country.

@Jeruba Yes, I agree totally and I too have wondered why there’s no way to disempower and remove a tyrant from the Presidency. It is surely a hole in our governmental structure. And shame on those who have the power to stop him and won’t!

I think it’s easy to understand why he hasn’t been removed once you accept the fact that half the population is incapable of distinguishing a tyrant from a corn cob. My own vehemence regarding Trump is about what his elevation to President says regarding the people’s ability to govern themselves. It is truly frightening that with a four year record for minimum standards this idiot barely missed re-election.

Think back to the last Dem administration. We saw no riots, nobody destroying anything, no bullying, no stores being looted, no hatred, no BLM, no ANTIFA. That all started with the current administration. This rep administration underestimated the side effects of bullying. Instead of making them weaker, it drew them together. I know a lot of people who wouldn’t have gone out in the pandemic to vote had they have not felt their liberty being threatened. Many said they they would rather die from covid than spend one more second under trump

All good Americans should be calling for a peaceful transfer and peace in the country. People who are looting and destroying and calling to take up arms are criminals, it is not about a political party. Extremists do not represent the vast majority of Americans in the country. We should all be condemning all of it and encouraging people not to listen to these voices who are trying to stoke fear. They want the “other side” to strike first out of fear.

It will be interesting to watch his life unfold after he either leaves or is evicted. The stalling is clearly not working out for the dummy. It’s just one final incident solidifying his legacy as his country’s greatest Presidential embarrassment.

If I was Melania I’d get Baron the hell away from trump.

@Nomore_lockout I see her as part of the problem. He surrounds himself with people who love his money almost as much as he does. She willingly sold her soul to the devil and she’s afraid to live like the rest of us so she will say or do anything to stay in his good graces. As much as I enjoyed watching her pull her hand away from his in front of the world, I’m now wondering if he didn’t consider that as his public spanking and she received her $130k in exchange

@RedDeerGuy1 I have no idea why he does anything that he decides to do. He seems to get some perverse pleasure out of pretending that he’s in charge. Maybe his dad really did scramble his brain so bad that he needs help. Then he’s managed to appear rich enough to never get the help he needs and everybody around him is too fearful to say ”you’re nuts” to his face

Also yes. Hid dad scrambled his brains, but the fact that he has learning disabilities didn’t help.
