Do you know anybody who's eating non-traditional food as an entree for Thanksgiving this year?

This year is a Thanksgiving like no other in recent history.

Some people I know are veering from traditional turkey for dinner tomorrow, because they say they don’t like it so why have it. I can totally comprehend that mindset, no criticism here.

One of my friends is making king crab legs for their dinner. Someone else is making a lasagna. My daughter asked for ham. I’m not making turkey at all, not that I don’t like it, but it would be too much to have a ham and turkey for just two people. I offered my daughter some choices, turkey, chicken, ham, shrimp, lasagna, or “don’t care.”

I never made a ham before, but this is a spiral sliced one and from what I understand, it just has to be heated. I’m going to make it with pineapple juice. I could use the oven or I could take out the crock pot.
