Are clouds a definite sign of sadness?

Asked by bruh (41points) December 4th, 2020

Do you automatically associate clouds with sadness? like, if you saw someone with a cloud tattoo on their arm, would you think this person is expressing sadness?

I’ve had this cloud tattoo idea for a while. to me clouds represent freedom, weightlessness and imagination. I really like the idea and I really like the way it would look. And normally I wouldn’t care what others think of it, but I really don’t want people to think I’m sad all the time or expressing self pity.

I don’t want this tattoo in color, just black lines. No rain drops or lightning either. And I don’t want it to dark, just a bit of shading

What do you think about it? I’m free to discuss!

I would think it would depend on the colour of the cloud.

@ragingloli i want it in black line with just a bit of shading. So it’s like a white cloud but my skin is the white

No. I tend to like clouds.

I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now. From up and down, and still somehow—it’s clouds illusions I recall.

I really don’t know clouds, at all.

I like to sleep to a loud thunderstorm.

I’ve NEVER associated clouds with sadness!!! I think that IF you want a cloud, then you should have your cloud…screw what others think!!!

It’s your tattoo, go for it. Look at the bright side. Anything beats waking up with an empty wallet, a bad headache, and a tattoo on your chest that says “Singapore 1975”.

To me, clouds make me happy. I look at them and try to figure out what they look like. I like white fluffy clouds and dark angry clouds.

A student asked my Zen teacher once, “What are you?”

He answered: “A cloud floating by.”

Maybe if you are afraid of misunderstanding you can write something below it, like “freedom”?
