Can eyeglasses cause eye irritation?

An allergic reaction doubtful. But the wrong strength can absolutely irritate, strain, possibly even damage your eyes worse.

If you see better with them then, if anything, they should reduce irritation. Is this the same type of eye irritation you mentioned in a previous post?

@LostInParadise Yes it is. It might be from all the excess screen time. I have allergy eye drops. Also I tried other types of eye drops .

It probably is the excess screen time. Glasses to correct your far vision more than glasses to correct near vision.
I wear contacts and too much screen time strains my eyes so I take a night off my screen.
