Do you think rubbish questions should be deleted without so much as a polite how's your father?

Who’s determining which are rubbish questions? If you mean spam, it would be great if they were and they are, once identified. Otherwise, flagging what seems to be rubbish and having it sent back or deleted is cumbersome but fairer.

Shouldn’t this be in Meta?

If the mods think your question is rubbish, they send it back to editing, and tell you to make it less rubbish.
And if, in their judgement, your revised question still does not cut it, they will send it back again, and again, and again, until you are bullied into pressing that “abandon question” button.

The very first question I asked on here was about a gorilla made totally out of Froot Loops. It didn’t pass muster.

Shrug
