How frequently is it to confuse psychopaths with psychotics?

Just wondering? I did. Took me a bit to know that they are different illnesses.

The names sound similar, but the disorders are very different. Psychopaths don’t feel empathy but are generally good at blending in and faking it (e.g. Dexter). Psychotics are out of touch with reality, think of someone tripping on acid.
