Good place to get a chop in SF?

Asked by bpeoples (2551points) September 10th, 2008

I’m looking to get a simple chinese chop (stamp) in San Francisco, preferably avoiding the crazy touristy places.

Any tips? =)

Go to the Chinatown in Oakland. More authentic, not touristy.

Another followup, just commissioned a chop in SF’s chinatown. Only one place does them, they’re here:

Kee Fung Ng Gallery
757 Grant Avenue
SF CA 94108

Wide selection of chop blanks and they’re great at coming up with good meanings for english names! Not too expensive either, my small chop is under $20.
