Are later versions of PaperPort 11 worthwhile?

I’ve used PaperPort 11 for years and tried many of the subsequent upgrades…all have proven, for me, to be more cumbersome and less useful than “11.” Now I’m tempted to try PP 14.5. Is this latest edition a measurable improvement over previous ones?
