Do you ever confuse am and pm during the summer?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24463points) June 27th, 2021

I just did. I was going to take my evening pills. Google didn’t help.

It’s a very sunny morning. At 6am.

My wristwatch is set for 24 hours – “Military time”.

No. Seems like a strange thing to be confused about.

Living in Alaska, it’s easy. Right now, tho’ the Summer Solstice has just passed, we basically have visible light 24/7. It isn’t so much that I confuse A.M. with P.M., tho’, as it is that you lose track of time. I’ll look at the clock and it’ll suddenly be 10 or 11 P.M. and it’s still bright light outside. Don’t get me wrong. This is one of the things I most love about Alaska, the seemingly never ending daylight in the summer, but it can be confusing. For instance, looking at the clock and based on the daylight outside, thinking it’s, oh, 6:50 when it’s really 10:30.
