In a day? Maybe if was still a kid. No longer. I now find most anime series uninteresting due to its brand of storytelling. Though yes, I still love watching old anime robots series like…what else…Mazinger Z. lol

I just keep revisiting the entire series of the brilliant Cowboy Beebop to satisfy my anime cravings. And then rewatch once a year all of Miyazaki’s films. And add to it Ninja Scroll, Wings of Honnemise, Vampire Hunter D, Ghost in the Shell and Satoshi Kon’s films.

@flutherother If you like Pixar or Disney animated films you may want to check out some imo really terrific anime films like Paprika, Wings of Honnemise and Whisper of the Heart.

I hadn’t watched anime in years. Just started watching it again because my kid is getting into it.

Kid loves My Hero Academia. I enjoy watching it, but I don’t love it. We used to watch 4–5 episodes a day during the summer. But since we’ve caught up, it’s an episode a week.

I’m super excited about introducing her to Neon Genesis Evangelion, since it’s my favorite anime. And we just finished the first two episodes.

So…it depends on how many series we are currently watching, if we are binging or watching weekly episodes and if it’s the weekend or a school day.

@flutherother Just realized I didn’t qualify my suggested movies enough.

These movies are not like the typical feel good Disney or Pixar films. But as far as really great sci-fi storytelling goes they do excel, if you don’t mind seeing them in that medium.

Paprika and Honnemise are two of the greatest sci-fi films I’ve ever seen.

@mazingerz88 Your suggestions are good. I just watched “Whisper of the Heart” and really enjoyed it. I now realise “Howl’s Moving Castle” and “Spirited Away” two of my favourite films also fall into this category. “Paprika” I have downloaded and will watch some time soon.

^^Sounds great! For some reason I keep imagining Nolan saw Paprika and it inspired him to make Inception. I have these films in blu-Ray and will never tire revisiting them. Such great works of beautiful art.
