What could these be symptoms of?

Asked by MaisyS (734points) October 28th, 2021

The left side of my face often gives me trouble. I sometimes get twitches at the corner of my mouth, but this is infrequent.
Lately I have been having pain in my left temple. I should probably tell you that I banged my head hard on a shelf a while before this all started. I have no idea if that has any bearing on this.
Anyway, a while after that, I began experiencing pain in my left temple. It’s been on and off since then. Sometimes it is intense, other times less so, and it lasts about a minute or two at most.
Then today, I noticed a burst blood vessel in my eye.
I haven’t had a twitch at the corner of my mouth since the time I banged my head, but I just added it in case it is relevant.
Right now, I’m having light pain in my left temple. It’s not unbearable at all, and it feels like pressure than an ache.
I sometimes can feel a similar pressure in my cheekbone.
Maybe I should also add that I grind my teeth a lot (anxiety, I have OCD) and I feel like I tend to grind on the left side more.
I’m planning on getting this checked out in a day or two, but does it sound very serious? Should I go as soon as I can?
Also, I know most of us are not doctors here, nor can we carry out tests in any way, but do my symptoms make you think of something particular? I just want to know what you think.
