3xraised2/(2*cos((xraised3)/2)raised2)
Now work it back and see how that happened.

In general, the derivative of f(g(x)) is f’(g(x)) g’(x). In this case f(x) is tan(x) and g(x) is ½x3. The derivative of tan(x) is sec2(x). Do you think you can complete the problem now?
