What is your favorite animal? Why?

First of, it’s, obviously, my cat, Tsounouri.
He doesn’t love me, unconditionally, and I like that.
He makes me really laugh, every day almost, unintentionally, and for that I love him.
And we sleep together; either he’s in my armpit, or under the blanket, against my side, purring.

But my favorite animal outside my house, is the Tardigrade.
They’re near indestructible.
They are found on all extreme places on Earth.
Plus, they’re very cute (though very small).

The horse. They are magnificent!
And when all else fails, you can eat them.

I’d say it’s a tossup between the orca and the giraffe. Second place is elephant.

I love dogs, penguins, and horses.

Felis catus (domesticated pussycats). They can bring such love and happiness into your life. But feels like your heart is being ripped from your chest when they get sick and old and die.

I have a life-long over-attachment to cats. I was chasing them to cuddle them before i could walk. So probably cats.

But I love practically all animals. Beavers are another favorite. And here’s a great site with live elephant seal cameras on two of their napping beaches. Etc…

Rhino or African bull elephant for me. Also the Indian Bengal tiger.

I’m like @Zaku, I love almost all animals, and those I don’t love, I still respect as living things and would defend their right to life. Well, not sure about cockroaches.

Having said that…omg @rebbel. those things are ugly and scary and yeah, kinda cute. LOL

It’s hard to pick, but I love the majesty of the Musk Ox and I’ll take 2 of those omg-too-cute-for-words calves for Christmas, thankyouverymuch!

I love Horses but are afraid of them because of there size.
I like there phyical muscular body. Used to go to the hores races and watch them parade around before each race..fantastic muscular bodies.

I think wolves. They are social creatures and can be very gentle, especially with the young. But they can also be fierce hunters and protectors.

I used to really like foxes…beautiful and intelligent creatures. Until I had one as a pet. I recognized how intelligent they really can be and it sort of soured me a little towards them being on the top of my list. Too many negatives as a pet. But they are still way up there.

I’d love to have a black panther that acted like a housecat. So sleek and powerful.

Goats. We raised them when I was a kid.

Aside from Jasper Coal Root Beer (my cat) my fave animals are elephants, whales, and the big cats. But I think I can find something I love about all animals.

Capybaras are awesome. That’s an excellent choice.

My fav animal is Orca. Firstly, for me, they’re super cute! They are also very friendly to humans and playful and cheerful. It makes me feel happy. I just love it.

I like all of them, though I’m a bit scared of swans and leopard seals. And maybe not a fan of cockroaches when they get too close.

Dogs are my absolute favourite. There’s pictures of me at age eight or so, lying in my grandpa’s yard with his big, white, fluffy dogs stretched out right next to me. I look like the happiest child you could imagine, and I still feel that peace and joy when I get to be around dogs.

I also really admire (from a distance) bears and raptors. It’s one of my aspirations to get close to a falcon or hawk someday. Oh, and capybaras are incredibly cute. On the Headspace app, there’s a video featuring an upside-down baby capybara. Getting the app was worth it just for that!
