I haven’t yet and I’m fifty.

I think it’s more event based than age.
My friend lost his father at 15. He will tell you that’s when he made the turn.

Some of us never do. Others seem old at 30.

That all depends on your definition of youth.

I don’t think it is a physical age. I think it is a mental outlook. Even though at 61 I’m still doing goofy kid stuff, I won’t say I still am in my youth. My innocence left a long time ago. My enjoyment of life never did so I don’t think or act “old”.

I’m with the Wulf, only seven years their junior.
I lost my agility, and feel slightly less youthful in a physical sense, but my mind is childlike, I say with pleasure.

Some people guess my age as fifteen years lower than my driver’s license.

19 or maybe 18 years old . . . .

This one is simply a matter of the brutality of circumstances. Most of us grow up when compelled. Some, however manage to avoid it even then.

doylet307b's avatar

I think about 18.

A boy doesn’t become a man until a man is needed and he can fit the bill.

kritiper's avatar

Generally speaking? Maybe 25.

KRD's avatar

It is usually 18 in body years. In mind years it can be a little different.

JLeslie's avatar

I’ll say around age 30.

@RedDeerGuy1 I’ve seen drunk guys and girls that could meet that criteria ;-)

When you die.

This happens differently for each person. But I can definitely say that I still feel young.

seawulf575's avatar

@RocketGuy Then I have 30+ yo “youths” living with me.

RocketGuy's avatar

@seawulf575 – That’s annoying. We spent $$$ to make sure our kids don’t have to live with us after college. We’ll see how that works out.

Jeruba's avatar

@RocketGuy, didn’t work out for me.

HP's avatar

It’s terrifying. You do your best and yet still so much in life is a crap shoot.

RocketGuy's avatar

Our younger one is an ace in her field, so she’ll prob go find a cool job somewhere far from home after college. However, our older one prefers simple solutions and has asked us if we would will our house to her if we pass away. I’m not so sure she will be moving away after she graduates from college.

It depends on each person. Some people leave their youth at 5 years old.
