On the plus side you know exactly where they stand and can steer clear of any dealings with them or their companies.

Personally I think they’re trash and an embarrassment to their family and community.
They are following putin’s playlist to the letter.

ragingloli's avatar

Well, I think that they are the “triggered snowflakes” that they love to accuse “libruls” of being.

chyna's avatar

Trashy.

Demosthenes's avatar

I think they must be very angry and unhappy. I don’t give a shit about “Fuck Biden” or “Fuck Trump” signs. I don’t personally identify with politicians and get offended when people dislike them. “Fuck you for voting for them” is a bit more hostile though and I have to assume negative things about a person who’s so bitter about and enraged by the way many of their countrymen vote.

I celebrate their freedom to speak their minds. I too said Fuck Trump and fuck you for voting for him. Ain’t American Democracy great?

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

I had a good laugh. I would assume that… It is liberating that democracy and free speech is working. I would love to be able to say my mind without reprisal. Some places on the planet one can get “disappeared or polonium poisoned” for saying ones mind.

seawulf575's avatar

It shows low class and weak minds. I felt the same way about all those that said the same about Trump or Obama or Bush II.

KRD's avatar

Because Biden s crowed up. He had Afghan refugees left behind, he cheated in the election, and is letting crime happen all over. He also showed the world how bad we are doing.

gorillapaws's avatar

The First Amendment guarantees your right to speak your mind. I’m glad for it. I’d be more worried to live in a country where such things didn’t exist.

LuckyGuy's avatar

It also means they don’t have the pleasure of regular visits with their young grandchildren.

I can hear the conversation now: “Umm, Dear, I rather not go to your Dad’s place and expose our kids to his rants. He’s still not vaxxed; Fox news is blasting in the living room so loud you can’t think; he has a gun under the couch cushion; he’s angry all the time; and he blames everything that happens on someone else. “Flat tire again!!! Fucking Biden and his clean air initiatives. That only makes the air leak out of the tires faster so Hunter can sell more air.!”
“Let’s skip it and take the kids to your Mom’s or The SkyZone Bounce House.”

jca2's avatar

I know we have freedom of speech and it’s not illegal for people to post signs and flags that say that, but I think it’s terrible that they do so, when kids can see it. I have friends in the next town over, whose neighbor about two houses down put up a huge “Fuck Biden” sign. My friends are Trump fans but they were not happy that it was posted on the street for the kids and for visitors to see.

JLeslie's avatar

I don’t think well of anyone who has the word fuck in anything that is out in the public. Flags, shirts, hats, signs, art in street windows, etc. That’s mostly because I think it is a horrible example for children and can be disturbing or upsetting for children too. I use swear words plenty, so I am not one of those people who is appalled by cursing.

I don’t like any of the name calling and vitriol in politics, so combine the two and obviously I am not a fan. People with flags like that are mostly brainwashed and worried about their friends accepting them and they don’t think for themselves.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

We have a guy in town that moved in about three years ago, the newspaper had a big write-up on his upside down American flag a F&(%k Biden flag at a school bus stop. Freedom of speech was what the local authorities called while shaking their heads.

Ex-Marines Sargent and retired State Trooper. The local Marine Corps League gave him one of the banners to replace the F&(%k Biden flag and now he flies a “black on black” American flag instead of an upside down Stars ans Stripes.

Not well liked by the neighbors, one of them is a friend of mine.

cookieman's avatar

Childish. I would say that about anyone who feels the need to wear shirts, fly flags, or display signs and bumper stickers that state similar things any politician, public figure, group, or team.

Grow up please.

filmfann's avatar

I appreciate their being up front.
Sometimes I meet people, and it takes time to wind conversation to the point where you can make a guess at whether they are pro-Trump or sane.

Nomore_Tantrums's avatar

I ignore them, they aren’t worth my trouble. Consider the source. Then ignore it.

DeLorean24's avatar

I think they’re troublemakers that just need to be ignored at all costs. They’re flags aren’t going to take anyone out of office or out anyone in office. Votes do that. Just go on about your day and let them go on about theirs.

Pandora's avatar

I just laugh at the thought of them being triggered.

KNOWITALL's avatar

Maybe slight pity for their neighbors. I pass one daily on the corner.

smudges's avatar

@KRD Because Biden s crowed up.

I have no idea what that means; is it some kind of new-speak? How did he cheat in the election? Are you sure you aren’t confusing him with trump? or are you listening to your dad again?

cheebdragon's avatar

Nothing new.

@smudges No idea at all? Wow.

kritiper's avatar

It sounds as though they’re itching for a fight and don’t care who with.

smudges's avatar

@cheebdragon Nope, never heard of that. And no offense to KRD, but he’s not exactly dependable when it comes to grammar and spelling. I’m not revealing anything new, he himself has written about it. But you can educate me if you like.

LuckyGuy's avatar

Do you know how many people they convinced to vote their way? Zero!

In fact they might even have convinced a few people on the fence to vote against them.

gondwanalon's avatar

I think that people have a right to do foolish things. And I don’t think highly of turkey’s who write vulgar messages. “Let’s go Brandon “ is a much better way to convey their thoughts.

cheebdragon's avatar

@smudges Sound it out and consider the context.

Obviously a subscriber who is totally incapable of stringing a sentence together without using foul language.

The vast majority of decent subscribers here do not want to see these kind of posts.

It is very possible to post questions and answers without the necessity of using this kind of language.

I have been a Moderator on other Q&A sites and this kind of language would never have been tolerated.

si3tech's avatar

@Cindy1302 Whether or not I may agree witt the message they HAVE NO CLASS!

kneesox's avatar

Crude and offensive no matter which side you’re on.

I don’t know if Civics is still a subject taught in schools, but how about adding formal instruction in Public Behavior? Blessed are the peacemakers.

chyna's avatar

^If only our senators had taken that class.

SEKA's avatar

I don’t think Civics is being taught anymore
check out these statistics on the current state of Civics. If true, no wonder we’re so screwed

cookieman's avatar

I took a required Civics class in middle school, in the early 80’s. It was taught by the football coach who read directly from the book and had no clue what he was talking about. Just part of his required teaching so he could coach. We learned nothing.

I’m not sure schools have cared about teaching Civics in a long time, if ever.

Kropotkin's avatar

I’m fine with it.

Sanders would have been the only okay option. Anyone else was a scumbag, and fuck you all for voting for any of them

HP's avatar

@Kropotkin This is the argument I’ve been having with my brilliant friend the Trotskyist, who when his first child was born, immediately faced reaity, quit his post office job, jumped into graduate school, then to Bell labs just as A T & T was breaking up. His brilliance was appreciated and he moved up, harboring his attitude to himself, while adroitly avoiding such obscenities as crossing a picket line or participating in any management strike breaking regimens. He’s retired now and living well, fully aware of the contradictions inherent in the fact that he owes it all to his ability to exploit the system he despises.
So my argument these many years has been, even though the choice is between the lesser guaranteed evil, isn’t it better to vote than abstain?

Kropotkin's avatar

@HP Shades of evil get rather blurry and a matter of aesthetic preference. The idea of there even being a lesser evil is often a sort of self indulgent conceit.

Kraigmo's avatar

They are traitors and enemies of America.
They’d overthrow our Republic in a heartbeat, if given a path to do so. And they’d use conspiracy lies as their excuse. They are pure evil.
But… I do not want to force them to take their flags or stickers down. Nothing wrong with identifying what you really are. And such flags or stickers reveal everything.
It’s good to know who the local enemies of America are.

HP's avatar

@Kropotkin Those conceits are too often the determinants of existence itself. Those choices around lesser evil more often than we admit, can be matters of life and death.

Kropotkin's avatar

@HP It’s just that one person’s “lesser evil” is another’s “greater evil”. Then when one choice is made, through some election or whatever, people self-servingly speculate about counterfactuals, either believing they’ve picked the better or worse choice depending on whether it’s their side or not.

I contend that there’s probably very little material difference whether one personality or another gets elected, because there’s a general all-encompassing ideology that guides electoral politics. It’s basically always “evil”. But I’m just an outside observer who detests liberal democracy and the sort of pro-capitalist ideological hegemony that permeates mainstream electoral politics.

Biden is no different to Trump, Bush, Obama, or Reagan to me. They’re just different flavours of shit, who tailor their rhetorical and aesthetic appeals to their demographic support, who have been indoctrinated to internalise the values of billionaire sociopaths, and delude themselves into thinking “their side” are the good guys.

Nomore_Tantrums's avatar

Screw them, anyway it’s only a flag. And at the end of the day, they have a right to their own opinion. F’d up as it may be.
