Has there been a problem with logging out/signing out in one of the main email providers?

So, Yahoo, Outlook, Gmail, etc. is what I mean by main
Also, any change in the layout?

Not that I am aware of, and I am in and out of Google Mail 5–6 times a day.

No opinion on Yaho or Outlook.
