How does recreational marijuana legalization affect your state?

My state (Missouri) will be voting in November to legalize recreational marijuana. If you’re already in a state that has done so, what are the repercussions we need to know about?

I did hear the tax money is substantial and helpful, but that’s about it.

I’m concerned mostly about how it would affect prices for the medical users. Thanks.
