Yup – the Penguin will be out in California for a family celebration. Should be free on Sunday evening if anyone in the area cares to meet up. If the weather is nice enough, Jupiter outside could be nice but open to suggestions.

(Kid has little league 2–4pm.)
Early dinner around 5:30 or 6 maybe but we have to get Jeruba there too? We can switch to PMs for details and to see if it will work out.

I was thinking that Zino in the Hotel Shattuck might be a nice quiet place to meet unless people feel it is too pricey. Otherwise, the Jupiter Brewing Co on Shattuck, where you guys met once before is a possibility.
I’d like to go, but my only affordable means of northbound transportation is our beloved Pacific plate, which will take about 15 million years to get there! ;-o
All I want is to avoid spicy food.

@flutherother Hop a plane! We did it a year or two ago and it was great.
@janbb I’d be jetlagged and I would fall asleep.
I will check my availability as time draws near. If I don’t have my home situation resolved yet, I will check my budget.

Looks like with @janbb exhausted from travel, and others under the weather or recovering from Covid exposure, we should do it another time.

I’m in Scotland now so will miss it.
