A magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck four miles north-northwest of Chatsworth at 12:58 a.m., according to a preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey.

Hi Andrew, did your earthquake feel big? There was an earthquake in Berkeley at 4:45 am a couple of weeks ago. It woke us up--and we are way up high in the hills, not on landfill at all. It knocked everything off the walls and shelves and broke a couple of windows. It was a shallow earthquake, so I guess it felt larger than others because it had less distance to travel to the surface. It was a 4.2.

I hope that the faults are just decompressing...
