TCG players: does the rarity of a card really matter?
Does the rarity matter? What about the look of the card (shiny cards, etc)?
When I say “matter”, I mean gameplay wise. I am aware that has more to do with collecting, but is there a gameplay advantage to having more legendaries vs commons?
Googling this just says it matters for collecting, does not mention gameplay.
Not sure if this depends on the game, I personally am referencing Star Wars: Unlimited, but am asking more in general.
