Know anything about mobile software which can help someone with a communication disorder?

Asked by muskoka09 (4points) October 9th, 2008

Am looking for something like a picture dictionary for an I-phone. My mother in law has a disease called primary progressive aphasia which is making it harder and harder to share her ideas verbally. Pictures help – as would some standardized phrases to help in the grocery store, or a restaurant. Ideas?

I would say a combination (for iphone apps) are Lonely Planet apps that offer great selection of common phrases & everyday sayings to be spoken out loud in any language. And the Dictionary app, (free one) that has pictures for a lot of the words.
