How do I put quotes next to my avatar?

I’ve seen people with neat quotes by their avatar, where do I go to do that?

Do you mean the greetings on the right——> under username? If so, the Fluther gods choose them. Today, for example, I’m “not half-bad.”

That’s on a computer screen. I have no idea what the iPhone app looks like.

I’m guessing you mean the little personal statements next to the avatar on users’ profiles. To add one of these to your profile, click on “My Account” over there in the right frame (just above your lurve score), then under “Profile”, click “Edit your profile”. You’ll see a dialog box named “Mini-bio / Description”; enter your text there.
