That does not sound like something you would get from smoking marijuana. Maybe your source is mixing in a little something he’s not telling you about?

pal2211's avatar

no man this is pure shit i’m talking about. and its not like its freaking me out or anyhing.

A weightless feeling, usually. Slight visual distortion, mostly colors as everyone knows. An unyielding urge to crank up some Phish or Pink Floyd.

lol, sounds like dehydration to me

I used to smoke a whole lot over the last 20+ years and there is no numbing agent nor is there any reason for your vision to be distorted. You ought to consider using a different supplier. What you have is either tainted or it’s an imagined psychological side effect

I fall asleep.

I’ve only been high twice and both times were an extremely physical high. My body felt weightless and like there was a layer of something surrounding it. Walking became difficult, I couldn’t keep my eyes open or I’d freak out/get nauseas, it was very hard to control thoughts/emotions…And the second time I got high I thew up. I think I have a very low tolerance. Mixed with not-so-good-weed.

I smoke “weed” everyday. I love it. I’m responsible, an adult, and a father. I have a great life, awesome job, and a loving family. Why drink alcohol when you could possibly lose your license coming home from just about anywhere and ruin your current life. Anyone who is a senior marijuana smoker knows that driving just stoned is just as easy as driving sober. Why?...Why!

skabeep's avatar

@trenchantwit LOL you smoke too much dude. the question wasn’t is weed good compared to alcohol but what effects does it have on you

EnzoX24's avatar

@skabeep

Well it obviously doesn’t affect his driving, haha.

My friend used to drive stoned and I must say, his precision suffered a bit. It wasn’t nearly drunk driving, but I didn’t feel entirely safe. Just watch out when you drive.

I don’t know about you guys, but I always got high when I used to smoke.

Haha, but really, I’d get the classic munchies which led me to always put peanut butter on EVERYTHING! Then I’d usually pass out with the half eaten, peanut butter infested, (insert any food here) sitting in my lap. Oh! And the whole time, everything was hilarious. You could say telephone and I’d bust up laughing.

Now and days, weed is to much of a downer for me. I haven’t smoked since High School and don’t much plan to.

That’s happened to me once. Ironicly I was in the car with my crush when it was happening. I thought I might be having a seizure since I have had one after smoking a lot of pot.

I usually get in “the zone” and jam for a while, or write or read or drive! Haha, our senior smoker is the only one here who really knows what’s up!

Marijuana can stimulate your mind/soul/consciousness if you’re not just looking to “get high” and look like some government endorsed commercial…....

well smoked weed for last 3 years and only last few months i been smoking nearly every day and if i’m by myself i just watch movies, play computer games and listen to music. when im with my 4 best mates we do the best stuff ever. put music on and have jamming sessions and pretend we are a person in the band playing. slow motion fighting with swords or pre-tend light sabers. find old star wars toys in mates shed and pretend we are fighting each other with the ships. play halo on xbox live (its fucking crazy) or just campaign (you think your the actual player when you do it 2 player).

but funniest thing was my first time. i was 14 with 5 mates and one of our mates older brothers who was 16. we smoked at the primary school near my house. sat there for about 30mins and it started raining. within 2 mins we all freaked out from the dripping off the roofs and road on our bikes back to my place.
one of my mates didnt see the curb and hit it and when he fell he didnt realise he had fallen and kept trying to petal. was so funny. we finally made it to my place with my mate all cut up. at the time my computer was in the study and my sisters was too. she was on the computer when we came home and one of my mates just straight on it and for some reason started playing solitaire. he had he face about 10 inches from the screen and didnt move anything but his hand for about 30mins hahaha. my sister was only 12 and didnt know what it was back then so she had no clue what was going on. the rest of us sat on my couch and at a tub of milo, 2 boxes of cereal, about a loaf of bread and so much more. good times!

when i’m by myself i get the urge to dance and sing and i generally just feel happy. and then i go and eat a pizza and other unhealthy things and then i feel awful, but still good! ya know? like shit, why did i eat that. i’d feel so much better right now. but it always tastes so good.

i much prefer to smoke with other people though. its so much more fun. we just sit and laugh at the wind and then go eat a pizza. sigh

The first time i did it i got no buzz at all. the very next time, i was so friggin baked. I couldn’t move. My ears heard a loud droning sort of “Wah Wah” sound. Time passed so slowly, minutes felt like hours. I had a constant smile and laughed when i spoke. A great happiness filled my whole body.

Since that first high, the effects have gradually decreased. I take time off from smoking here and there to refresh the effects. After a while it does sort of consume your life and you get cranky when you run out. but i will most likely love and appreciate it for all my life.

deni's avatar

@Darbio16 My first and second times were the same way. The first time I felt nothing and I was so disappointing. The second time, I was at work (at a fast food place at the time) and I was a sight to see, I’m sure. I could not. stop. laughing. I was so happy. I was dancing around and honestly I don’t think I’ve ever been that happy again lol.

my cousins smoke weed from time to time, and i get jealous because my cousin, who’s so sorta protective of me, prohibits me from joining them. so, most of the time, i’m stuck with watching them laughing their heads off with just about the silliest things.i mean it doesn’t even have to be a joke to make them laugh. and they eat a LOT! .. LOL

My eyes are getting all blurry right now! It’s freaking me out! I’m glad to know it’s happening to someone else besides me and my friend Rachel. We were kinda getting scared…

The first time I smoked it … I got more mellow than I had ever been in my life until that point. And as anyone who knows me can attest – and could attest before that evening, too – I can be mellow to a near Zen state. I felt like I should be pictured in dictionaries as the prototype of mellow. But since I never was, and I’m mellow about that, I didn’t much care. I’m just sayin’.

But wait! That’s not all!

I woke up the next morning, bright, chipper, happy – still mellow! – and still buzzed. Oh, what a feeling! And what an appetite, too. Even for cafeteria chicken croquettes.

From that point on I smoked pretty regularly, wasting most of my time in college, I’m afraid. The last time I smoked was kind of a “Meh,” feeling … so I quit. And that’s all I got to say about that.
