How accepting are we as the Fluther community?

I have often wondered this when I see a question that is inappropriate, stupid, or suspected spam – and the collective reprimands poster.

Do you take this as pride in our community and how we’ve worked to build it? Or do you ever feel it is snobbery toward those who may not be as seasoned in this realm?

I do not have strong feelings one way or the other, as I am a fairly new user.

I hope the collective can help shed some light on this for me.
