Ava, I hope this question isn't for you, given our recent conversation re pharmacological sales, I can't see insurance claims investigation being a happy employment for you. While certainly there is rampant insurance fraud out there that makes everything cost more for the rest of us, a lot of it is also insurance companies just plain trying to avoid paying out on legitimate claims. Most of the claims investigators I have worked with/against started in other occupations in the insurance field and became investigators, or were former police who left law enforcement for one reason or another.

Thanks hossman. I am trying to figure out what I'd like to do with my life. Now that i have finally gotten out of retail, I have the opportunity to explore everything I've ever had the slightest interest in. So, I thought I'd go to fluther and ask questions of different career paths to see if I'd be interested in pursuing them. Thanks for your advice. I really appreciate it.
