How does Fluter differ from Yahoo answers?

It’s pretty much way radder.

We’re kind of terrific.

We don’t believe in “best” answers. Also we’re a smaller site, and consequently have a tighter community. And smarter people.

“Fluters” (or the more common “flutists” or “flautists”) are people who play the flute.

Yahoo Answers is some web site I’ve never seen.

Quality, quality, quality.

And lurve.

To say it a little less nicely than Empress just did… There aren’t nearly as many morons on Fluther as there are on Yahoo.

Also, the Fluther site is prettier.

Also, we spell our questions correctly.

I used to like Yahoo Answers more than fluther, but i have noticed that on Fluther people is more responsive, and answers quickly than Yahoo, i like Fluther now much more…!

Fluther seems as if it has a tighter community. You’ll actually remember lots of community members usernames. The people are so bright and you get answers really fast. The live feature is really cool. You don’t have to refresh to see if someone answered your question! And Fluthers user interface is soo much better than Yahoos.

We don’t have those creepy cartoons, they send chills down my spine.

It’s the “Live” factor for me. I find that Fluther allows me to procrastinate with much more efficiency than Yahoo Answers…
