Whatever makes you comfortable. Most blind people wear some sort of glasses. I hardly ever look people with glasses on in their “eyes” since there’s nothing but a reflection of yourself.

I more or less just point my attention in their general direction.

Usually. (Even if they’re wearing glasses.)
Unless their glass eye is rolling around and creeping me out.

I try to make it a habit to look at people’s eyes whenever I talk to them so I don’t think I would stray from this even if I were talking to a blind person. Even if you don’t look at their eyes, they’re not going to know about in anyway, maybe.

I’ve been told that blind people have heightened senses of hearing to compensate for the loss of vision. If you’re talking to a blind person and you’re not looking at their eyes or even their face, they might be able to detect a change in volume in your voice and interpret this to mean that you’re not fully paying attention to them. This is speculation on my part but I think it could be accurate.

I do… I never assume that the individual is completely blind; they may be able to see some vague image of me. As an Audiologist, I can confirm what Bluefreedom suggests—the auditory signal that reaches the ears does noticeably change if the speaker is not facing you directly. This is even more crucial with the hearing impaired, regardless of their visual acuity.

I do. Like hearkat says, you never know how blind someone is. Plus, it improves my quality of speech to do so, making it easier for them to hear.

I do though my friend has two glass eyes. I want to see her facial expressions.

I do. I always look ppl in the eye because I hate it when ppl don’t look me in the eye.

It won’t hurt, they can’t see you either way.

I look the same as when I talk to a seeing person.

BUT, when I speak to someone who has an eye that looks off from the other eye, I don’t know what the heck to do. It doesn’t bother me at all. I just can’t stop myself from looking back and forth.
