General Question

Has anyone used a Blackberry through Verizon while traveling in Italy?

Did you have any problems with connectivity or using Google Talk or anything else? Or anywhere in Europe, for that matter. I’d hate to get all the way there and then have the silly phone not be able to access the internet!

Our CEO used his Blackberry this summer in Italy. We got him the international plan (still about $1 a minute), but he had data connections in larger cities, a little spotty in the outlying areas. Overall it worked pretty well.
One of our directors used his with success in Spain, too.
