What is the best shampoo out of Pantene and Suave? help with a school prject?

Does she have to set up tests? Did they provide any criteria of what “best” should mean? I saw a science fair experiment on whether or not name-brand detergent was better than store brand.

Tell a little bit more about the project. This is right up my alley. What grade is your daughter in? Is this a science or math project?

Can’t really give you “chemical” info, but Pantene beats Suave any day of the week. I use Pantene, and notoriously forget it when I go working out. My racket ball partner uses Suave (that dang skinhead) so at times I use his. The difference is horrible.

Maybe just perceived? I don’t know.

Here’s a great science fair project on shampoo.

Can she use the methods that Consumer Report does? Have her girlfriends try first one and then the other (with the labels covered). Then they can report on condition of hair.

(And they can’t tamper with results by using any kind of conditioner. Mom, you could try that also.)

my roommate is a hair stylist, and he confirmed what I suspected about Suave… it tends to leave a buildup if you use it daily.
