Best San Francisco Friday happy hour?

Asked by emilyrose (2272points) November 6th, 2008

I am thinking somewhere Mission-ish. Divey, spacious, not too loud…. I was thinking Uptown. What are other favorite happy hour spots?

Skylark in the Mission is divey, spacious, not too loud, and has a small back room for privacy…

Broken Record in the Excelsior has .50 cent PBR on Fridays. They have great music, a back patio, wild game sausages, What more could you ask for?

I’m a big fan of the happy hour at Lucky 13 ($3 beers, back patio, and free popcorn).

If you’re willing to venture out of the Mission, the 21st Amendment also has a great happy hour.

Oh yeah, the El Rio on Mission Street has an awesome happy hour, free chips and salsa, free oysters (as long as they last) and an awesome patio. There are also a bunch of interesting folks, great music and they have bbq sometimes.
