what bands or singers would you like to see play at barack obama’s 8 inaugural balls?

They do eight of those things? Anyway, I care very little about balls and banquets, so I don’t really care who plays or who goes, or what who wears, or who didn’t go, or who asked whom out, or who has a crush on whom, or who wins homecoming queen.
black lips would be killer. Just as long as it’s not U2 or radio head I don’t really care. It would be cool to hear Dr. Dre and Snoop.
This may seem kind of square but Josh Groban and Harry Connick, Jr big dance bands (or a Connick jazz band). Lets face it, all those politicians are going to want to dance and nobody wants to see them flailing away in tuxedos and ball gowns.
bootsy collins and the all-star rubber band. remember bootsy’s star-spangled sunglasses back in the 1970s?
OR…
“parliament” as they prophetically dedicated a song in the ‘70s to “chocolate city” or DC, with the white house in mind.
