The Hooters on Hollywood Blvd. because all the aspiring actresses waitressing there think you just might be a producer that will give them their big break and therefore give you great service.

The Lobster. I just remember it being really good.

The Blue Bayou. Actually, it’s in Anaheim, Disneyland, in fact. Where else can you get such good food and have a view of the bayou when in SoCal? (It’s inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.)

Pier 49? I think that’s the name. Good creme brulee as I recall. And somewhat historic displays in there too (old photos, etc).

Astro: I used to work there.
While everyone else was sweating, it was as cool as can be.

Follow Your Heart in Canoga Park, great health food restaurant. Honorable mention, Shanghai Reds, Cha Cha Cha, and Dukes in Malibu.

AOC and Providence are a tie for first place for me. Both are pretty pricy, but delicious. At AOC I’ve always had the best service and the servers are very knowlegeable and can suggest great cheeses. They have amazing cheese there. Which is probably why I love them. Providence is a seafood restaurant on Melrose, and I love seafood almost as much as I love cheese. I never order Salmon when I’m outside of Seattle, but I did there, and it was awesome.
