I need help changing a setting on Mac OS X...

Asked by Fallstand (1130points) August 24th, 2007

My dog walked across my laptop somehow changing a setting i am not aware of.. Icons on my desktop now have a thick black border around them when I highlight them.. Also in the apple menu, restart appears two times, as does shut down and log out…

I don't now, but can you drag those icons out the apple menu in the Trash?

Sorry to be laughing, but how about taking your dog to obedience school as a start? And then throw yourself on the mercy of kindhearted MIrza, who hasn't yet begun HIS class in "Just saying 'no'."

I don't think that there is a setting for that. Something is screwy. Have you tried restarting?
