Can I avoid that horrid "loading" ring of white dots on YouTube?

Asked by soethe6 (537points) November 18th, 2008

Help! I’m trying to show my class a couple of YouTube videos tomorrow, but I can’t get rid of the ring of white dots that gets superimposed over the center of the video, I suspect to signify that it’s loading. Even after the video has loaded completely—even if I watch it all the way through once and then slide the cursor back to the start—it STILL ruins the video with an annoying little ring of white dots going round and round in the middle of the screen. How do I avoid that?!?!

ignore it… or download the videos and show them on your computer (or upload them to vimeo.com).

It may be that your version of flash as per the browser you are using is whack. Try switching to a different browser. This may clear it up.

Buy googles servers and LAN them up in your school.

It’s just a bug. I’m sure google will fix it soon. Try another browser.
