Does any one know if there is a driving test that you can take online?

Asked by rossi_bear (753points) November 19th, 2008

my husband wants to get his licence and he works late and can’t take the time off from work right now and was wondering if there was a site that you can take on on line.

You might try going to the web site of your local DMV. I know in our area, it is not an option. But that might vary from place to place.

Thank you for your answer Basp. I will look into that if i can find their site. I am from Maine so I don’t know if you can here either. It is a question my hubby asked me so I thought i might through it out here.

I think a driving test most often involves, umm, driving. I might be misunderstanding your question. If your husband just needs to re-new or take a course for his license he might be able to do it on-line like in Florida. But, as for getting the actual, first-time license, I am crossing my fingers that every State requires you to show up and prove that you can physically drive a car.

Not exactly a test, but helpful videos.

I recommend that you check these videos out to make it much more likely that you will pass the driving test: http://preview.tinyurl.com/Driving123
Failing a driving test is very annoying, I failed two driving tests before I finally passed.
