Is "no doubt" ever going to have a reunion tour?

Asked by goldilocks2394 (102points) December 9th, 2008 from iPhone

they were one of the best ska bands ever! It would be a brilliant move on thier part to get back together, but are they going to?

I doubt it. The girl kind of started doing her own thing and the boys fell off the face of the planet.
Besides, didnt something happen and they all got pissed off at each other?

Good thing i decided to listen to No Doubt, according to their last.fm page they are playing in NY at Bamboozle 09 which is may 2nd-3rd with 32 other bands most of which are crap, but bloodhound gang is playing as well. Dont know if you still live in NY or not, but that seems to be the only place they are playging

Yes, no doubt they will. I know for a fact it’s going to happen as early as next year. I went to see Gwen Stefani live last summer and she said in no uncertain terms that her next album was going to be a No Doubt album. And you don’t release an album and not tour for it.

Bloodhound Gang!!!
And apparently I was very wrong about the reunion.

Yeah, they are going back on tour. Best ska band ever?

I agree when No Doubt used to play with Sublime they were cool. Now Gwen’s solo venture is lame sauce…
And in no way the best ska band ever.

Reel Big Fish gets my vote for ska

I think eventually they will. I’m looking forward to it!

No Doubt is definitely better than Gwen’s solo work imnsho, but I nonetheless went to see her live, mostly because Lady Sovereign was opening. I will say she put on a very energetic and visually stunning show. But I kind of felt like I was about 3 times the age of the average person in the crowd.

I must disagree… they are NOT the best ska band ever! but they were good together…
