Which is the best feel-good movie?

Asked by jazzjeppe (2598points) December 20th, 2008

“Love Actually” makes me happy everytime I see it and it’s been at least 20 times now. Same goes for “Lost in Translation”, such a magic movie! Which is your favourite feel-good movie?

I’m weird.

Feel-good movies to me are movies like 28 Days Later.

I’ll go sit in the corner by myself now.

@mrmontpetit so how do you feel about Old Yeller?

Moonstruck. However, I must GA JohnPowell, because The Shawshank Redemption is a very close second.

Amelie is a great suggestion. That movie is awesome. I find movies that make me feel good usually are a little sarcastic and silly, much like the National Lampoons Vacation Series or movies like Spy vs. Spy. I remember Savannah Smiles always made me feel good, Charlie Brown makes me feel good, A Christmas Story is pretty awesome too!

Since a couple people already said my favorite movie, Amelie, French Kiss and Under The Tuscan Sun. (chick-flicks, but wonderful to me)

I am addicted to “Pride and Prejudice” Movie and book. I watch and read it repeatedly. I have no idea why.

I adore Garden State. I can’t help but feel better about life when I’m done watching it.
