What should I do with chipped drinking glasses?

I’m looking to get rid of 4 glasses that have chips in them. Can these be recycled? What do I do with these?

Depending on the recycling rules where you live, you can probably put them into the recycle bin as long as they aren’t just pieces of broken glass. Best thing would be to check the restrictions for your particular collection service.

Get rid of them. No one likes drinking from a chipped glass.

Send them to Dubya at the White House as a farewell gift.

This article may help.

I agree with judochop. Let’s send Dubya EVERYTHING chipped, broken, and now useless. Let’s pile it up on the White House lawn….it’s the perfect metaphor.

This isn’t really going how I expected.

Call your local waste management facility. They should be able to tell you if they’re ok to recycle. If you need to put them in the trash, make sure you wrap them in old newspaper or something, so they don’t break and cut you or the garbage man.

Nothing ever goes the way we expect!
