What is this movie?

I saw just a few minutes of it yesterday morning (12/28), and I’m pretty sure it was on Lifetime. The scene I saw was of a blond woman/mother in the kitchen with her 12-ish-year-old son. The phone rings two or three times but when she answers it someone just hangs up. In a later scene, she and the son are having dinner with a man, presumably her date, and the boy starts asking him questions about if he’s been married and has kids, etc. The mom tells him to go get ready for bed and he comes back and says he’s hearing noises again. She asks the date to go check the crawlspace above the garage, where he sees a squirrel scurry past. Then the camera pans to a cordless phone extension and a flashlight behind some boxes in the attic, before going to commercial.

The Lifetime TV listings say that the movie “The Obsession” was showing at about the time I saw this movie yesterday, but the synopsis of “The Obsession” does not match the movie I saw. I’m trying to figure out who the actress is. It may have been Beth Broderick, but I haven’t been able to find a movie that matches the plot in her IMDB bio.
