Why do I wake up SO hungry?

Asked by thankgodforbeef (373points) January 3rd, 2009

… All the time, even if I ate pretty late the night before. I’m always way more hungry for breakfast than anyone else. REALLY INTENSELY HUNGRY.

SO hungry? Is eating your SO something you do often? I also love that this question is alongside the username “thankgodforbeef”.

Seriously though, maybe you should see a doctor or a nutritionist. If you’re really THAT hungry, maybe there’s something wrong. Perhaps you just need to eat more, or more of the right stuff.

Do you eat anything after dinner? I know dioabetics are supposed to have an evening snack so their blood sugar doesn’t drop too low overnight. Maybe it is because there is too much time in between meals. Try a light snack a couple of hours before bedtime and see if that cahnges your morning hunger.

I’ve always heard we should eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper, so your hunger may be perfectly normal and healthy.

ha ha richard.. good one!!

Actually, I think that you will feel less hungry if you try not to eat anything after dinner, especially after 8 P.M. Another thing that might help is no caffeine after mid-afternoon.

Good luck.

I never feel hungry when I wake up! I wish I was like you because breakfast is hard for me!

well you haven’t ate for quite for quite a while so it’s only natural that you are hungry. That is why they call it breakfast. Because you are basically fasting. At least, that’s what my mum says.
