Are you a cat or a dog person?

Dog, I am unfortunately allergic to cats.

I’m a (big) dog person and a cat person.
Can we be both?

I love both of them. I have 3 cats and 5 dogs.

I used to think I was a dog person, until I married husband and acquired his cat. I love cats, the only dog I would consider is a little yorkie.

@buster are they indoor? I can’t imagine that many dogs!

Er… cat. But I’m allergic, so Baby JoeJoe here is the closest I’ll be getting to a cat anytime soon.

Cat, definitely. I don’t have the patience or energy for a dog.

I love dogs (I’ve had 2), but like tinyfaery, I don’t have the patience any more.

I like cats too, but I’m horribly allergic.

I like both, but prefer cats. It’s nice to have a warm, soft animal sit on your lap and not try to run every moment.

Both, but probably because I was rasied with cats and dogs (as well as horses, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and a turkey). I’m allergic to cats and horses, but that doesn’t mean I don’t live with them! I currently live with 3 cats and 3 dogs in the house, and have 4 horses and a pony in the barn. I guess you could just say I’m an animal person overall :)

Had a cat, but I love lizards better than both cats and dogs!

I like dogs, but am a bit afraid of them ever since I got a bad bite when I was 4. So, cats it is! I have 2 kitties, both indoor, though one tries to be an outdoor cat every chance she gets.

Cats. But at the moment, I have two hamsters, my sister has a guinea pig, my other sister has a fish, and I’m currently saving up to buy a chinchilla. No cats allowed in the house. :(

Have 3 dogs, did have 5. They were rescue dogs and were very old when I adopted them and they are gone now. Also have 2 cats. But dogs all the way.

@Mangeons: You know your dad just isn’t a cat person…but don’t forget the two cats you have here at Mom’s house :)
