Well, not sure what you mean by edge, but New York def has it going on. I’ll go to NY 100 times before I go to LA

New York.

Recently, I figured out the real difference between the two:

New York has too much reality.
Los Angeles has none.

New York.

Sheeeeit, those Upper East Side mothers will cut a bitch, especially if it means places for their little darlings at Collegiate or Spence.

When you said “edge” I at first thought you meant “EDGE” as in the 2nd generation GSM network, and which city had better coverage? (haha I’m a dork!)

New York. By far. Nasty place in my opinion, but that’s just me.

I’ve always been a fan of New York.
I see LA as a shallow place.

I’m gonna go ahead and say LA.

But that’s only because I want the apartment that you and I are competing for in NY.

There are plenty of serious, ambitious people in LA, and there are plenty of shallow, flaky New Yorkers. That said: New York has more edge by almost every definition I can think of.
