Plug-in for Illustrator or Photoshop that replicates ink?

Asked by windex (2932points) January 9th, 2009

Is there a plug-in for photoshop/illustrator that mimics a sharpie lets say… So if you Pause/Hold on one spot it Bleeds/Expands.
Ex. Using the brush tool, if you draw a line and stop at the end and not take your brush off, the end of the line becomes thicker (bleeds/expands) like paper absorbing ink.

Hope that made sense. Thanks (something like Pucker/Bloat but WHILE you’re drawing the line, not tweaking it afterwards)

Tnx

Here is one way I’ve found to simulate the “Sharpie” effect:

1. Select a round brush and set it’s “hardness” property to something like 20%.
2. Turn on the “Airbrush” effect.
3. Paint away.

It’s not perfect but, hey, it’s all I’ve got to offer.
